Placenta position

Hi ladies. I had my midwife appointment today at 16 weeks +1 day. I've been a bit worried as I've felt no movement yet, I felt movement as early as 14 weeks with my second baby. Anyway midwife found the heartbeat and said baby is moving loads, she also said it sounded very swishy which could indicate the placenta is at the front of my tummy which would cushion the kicks hence the reason I haven't felt them yet! I just wondered if anyone else has been told there placenta is located at the front and at how many weeks did you feel anything?
