How do people in apartments sleep train?

We have our son’s playard in our room, which borders a wall that faces the next apartment over’s bedroom as well.  The walls are pretty thick, but some sound goes through and while our neighbors are nice people, I’m sure they don’t want to hear baby at 3 am.  We’re not interested in CIO, but we can’t even let him fuss for long because he gets SO LOUD.
How have others in apartments sleep trained?

I highly suggest you look up taking care of babies on Instagram or Google it. Its a 14 night program.. we did it and we live in a one bedroom condo.. although we don't share walls. It seriously was the best decision we ever made!!  she sleeps 11 1/2 to 12 hours every night with no feedings.. Its $179 but it's worth every penny!!! It’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be and it's not a cry it out it's a gentle approach. She slept 13.5 hrs on night 2!! Warn your neighbors so they know it’s only 14 nights in case they can hear.

You might be surprised. Both our next door and above neighbors say we must have the best baby ever because they never hear her cry.  How I don’t know because baby girl can have a meltdown with the best of them.  Even if they can hear your LO sometimes, hopefully they’ll be understanding

I would talk to your neighbors and just give them a heads up and apologize in advance in case the crying bothers them for a few nights. Also maybe ask if they have plans to be away for a few nights coming up and take advantage of that time to work on sleep training. If they have kids, I am sure they will understand.

I’m in the same boat but our walls are super thin. And that started the bad habit of co sleeping sure I love it but I swore I wouldn’t. I’ve been looking into Dream Lab by Owlet since I have the sock monitor but it’s 179$ and I’ve heard really good things about it and it’s program claims to help you teach your child to sleep through the night in a week
