What car seat do you use?

We have the Chicco 360 but I feel like my baby is so cramped and uncomfortable in it, we’ve used it since he was a newborn. The weight limit is 30 lbs though and hes 17. What do you all use and how much does your LO weigh?

I have had my son in a Clek Fllo since birth! He just outgrew his Infant Thingy body attachment and is sitting comfortably at 16lbs, 27”, 6 months. He’ll be outgrowing the infant head support pretty soon too. 😵

15lbs-  We just switched from a Chicco carrier to a Clek Fllo until she's ready for the all-in-one we have around 2-3yrs old. She's long and lighter weight, so we needed a solution in between carrier & booster seats, but definitely hadn't planned on it when registering for gear last year!

Chico nextfit. She’s only 14lbs, but the key fit just isn’t as comfortable. I used it until it’s to hard to take in/out of the car, stopped a month ago. She’ll be in the next fit for a long time.

What do you do with the retired car seat? It’s in such good condition. I feel like it’s such a waste. And I’m a FTM and this will probably by one and only

We have the Chicco key fit and my daughter is still comfortable enough in it so i am delaying moving her to then graco 4ever because if we are out in public I can still cover her easily in the stroller with the car seat attached because of covid. Although she is 18 lbs and hard to carry in the seat, so I tend to just leave the car seat attached to the base and carry her in and out of the house.

As long as you babies head isn’t passed the weight limit and their head isn’t less than an inch from the top you’re fine to keep using it. You can upgrade her to a convertible car seat though whenever you want if you feel your baby looks uncomfortable. I promise the baby isn’t uncomfortable though. These kids can bend easily. We use the graco snugride click connect. She’s 15 lbs. Shes pretty tall though, her feet are right at the end of the seat. I won’t change her though until at the earliest 10 months (as long as she isn’t to tell and even longer if she can still fit in it). My son is 3 and used the graco extend 2 fit convertible car seat (we bought that to use for our daughter too once we do change her) and I even keep him rear facing still. He easily figured out where to put his legs so they are comfortable. Usually he just criss crosses them or lays them up along the back of the seat.
