Am I crazy to TTC 4 Months Postpartum?

We have a 4 year old daughter after 10+ years of infertility, and a 4 month old son after 2 years of TTC. Our daughter is loving being a sister, and is so independent, and our son is such an easy, happy baby. I feel like I could totally do one more, and I’d love for the two youngest to be close in age. Plus it’s always taken us a long time to get pregnant. I just don’t know if we’re going to get crazy looks from family and friends 🤪

People will tell you you’re crazy but as long as your body has healed from your 4 month old and you think you’re ready and can support another child then go for it. No ones opinion should matter to you besides yours and your partners

PS. In case anyone is wondering, my cycle started back up 3 months postpartum. I’m ovulating this month according to ovulation tests, which is crazy to me since I have PCOS and typically only have 1-2 cycles a year. I feel like my body is finally doing something right, and it makes me want to take advantage of it.

Yep I got pregnant 3 months pp and miscarried and then again at 4 months pp now I’m 16 weeks! My babies will be 13 months apart! Boy and girl. I love that so much as me and my brother have the same age gap. We always had each other and are still best friends, I never had to be alone in school and I want the same for my babies

I may think you are crazy, but I still say go for it. Personally I wasn’t ready that soon after either of my daughters. But once that 1 year mark hit we started for number 2 and then after a year I was ready for number 3. We have been trying since September, so I understand wanting to get started. You do you. And baby dust!!!

If you know you want another and you normally have infertility issues it is probably a good time. Either it will take a long time anyway or being so close to your last pregnancy it could help you get pregnant faster from what I understand.

I wouldn’t say your crazy for wanting to get a jump start on ttc with how hard it’s been in the past for you to get pregnant but on the same hand your body is still healing for giving birth. I’d wait a few more months before really trying but that’s me personally. You do you. You know what your body can handle and what’s best for your family
