It’s about that time to order my nipple terror pump through ins in hopes of getting it before baby

Anywho with my daughter almost 5 I used the Medela. Loud, felt strapped to the wall and a pain to clean but did the trick. Wondering if any mamas recommend something else? Preferably portable and quiet. My gf mentioned spectra pump? And then I came across this one

Called elvie, anyone try? It looks like it’s heaven sent 😅 but it’s 499 and not sure if ins would cover it.

I use the spectra S9 with freemie cups. It will never be okay for me to spend 500$ on something so temporary. Especially since I’m choosing never to BF again too lol. PLUS my friend got it and hates it, something with the suction and I guess the size is to small 🤷🏻‍♀️

I loved my Spectre! With my first, I had the S1, which has a rechargeable battery so it’s portable. I just ordered another Spectre for this kid. I went with the S2 since my insurance covered it fully and we still have the S1, so I’ll have one that needs an outlet and one that is portable.

I’ve heard the elvie does nothing, however I know a lot of my friends loooved the baby Buddha pump with closed system freemie cups.
I have the medela freestyle and for the amount I use it, it works great for me (it was second hand).

I liked the spectra and the freemie collection cups. I tried the Medela symphony, hyjia enjoy, Baby Bella, and the tiny ameda. Spectra was the best and getting the freemie collection cups made it so my daughters couldn't hit the bottles off while I pumped. I also didnt have to wear a cover. Down side was if you don't put them together just right or bend over it back flows.
