Who’s surname should a child get?
I agree with this. if y’all aren’t married or at least engaged I don’t think children should get solely the mans last name. At least hyphenate the last name between the two. It has nothing to do with “not knowing who the baby daddy is” for some people. Having a baby doesn’t automatically mean the last name is the mans. Just like marriage. You choose to change it.
