Try to get something like this to help stimulate the whole nipple also it’s very help full to put hot gel pads while you pump so the milk lets down  the lanolin brand sells the gel packs I know it can be frustrating almost gave up for my second one but I pushed through and followed every advice I could get and got through it and feed until she was 18 months than found out I was pregnant again lol 🤦🏽‍♀️ ￼

Put the Lanolin cream on before you pump and it does look to long you should look into a shorter one and the one grabs the whole nipple not just the tip the point is to stimulate the breast to let down the milk and to suck it out you can even use nipple guards with a pump while your breast recover from soreness. You can use caffeinated hot tea bags for nipple soreness my doctor told me last time the caffeine helps your skin around your nipple to regenerate. And if it’s to sore don’t pump just feed baby with a nipple shield until you feel better you don’t want to break skin and bleed hope this helps. I have gained a lot of knowledge on breastfeeding after two kids and now soon to be three . Good luck

The flange may be too big which can cause pain. I had that issue and was causing some pain. Once I found a flange size that fit better I didnt have any issues aside from when my daughter had a low latch
