I need some advice...

So my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a year and a half now and we’ve had no luck. Nothing. We decided to start our fertility journey at home and did a sperm count test just because I ovulate every month and my period is like clock work. Every 27 days for 3 days. Well our at home test showed low sperm. So we both decided to go somewhere professionally. He did the sperm test their and it came back no sperm. We are devastated. Our next step is to do blood work and another semen analysis BUT our doctor wants both of us to get bloodwork. I personally think it’s a waste of money considering we need to focus our money on my husband and not on me. I feel as though we are being scammed and that we are not being heard!

Should be find a new fertility doctor? Or is this normal?
