Tattoos? No hate please

Ok. Has anyone gotten a tattoo while pregnant? I only ask because I have an appointment set for the 15th. And my next period is set to (hopefully not) show up on the 16th...
Our artist is extremely professional and clean. The whole shop is very well taken care of...
So I am totally confident cleanliness would not be a problem.  
Just wasn’t sure if there were any other factors that may affect a growing baby at only 4 weeks. 
I’m going to ask my doctor as well, but wanted to hear from you ladies too. 
Wishing I didn’t have to cancel... but a baby is definitely worth waiting if I need to!

If you want the tattoo now you will likely still want it after pregnancy.

If the tattoo is scheduled a day before your period, take an early testing pregnancy test and see what it comes up as. Tattoo shops will ask if you are pregnant or if you could be and if you answer yes, they won’t tattoo you. Better safe then sorry though to early test. Or see if you can reschedule for a couple weeks later if period shows up.

No professional tattoo artist will give you a tattoo if pregnant. You can get an infection and can be very dangerous

You are not supposed to get tattoos while pregnant. The waiver you sign will ask if you are pregnant.
