Clots durinf first period after dnc

I’m not getting any other responses on any other forms so the only other place I knew to post would be here bc other mamas get it... I had a dnc May 22nd. I started my period yesterday, since I’ve had bad cramps and a lot of clotting. I sat on the toilet and felt like I had to push & a clot a little smaller than my palm came out. My drs office is closed today for the 4th of July, but I’m wondering if this is normal? Sorry for the picture in advance.
