Breastfeeding tips???

Question

I’m a FTM and just had my daughter June 30!! I’m looking forward to breastfeeding but I could use some tips!!
1) how long does nipple pain last
2) what are comfortable positions for nursing with very large breasts??
And anything else you lovely mamas would want to have known to start your breastfeeding journey 💕 thank you!!!

It was painful for about a week or two for me. The best tips I can share, since I had trouble with this, is that baby will have ”growth spurts” at about 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 12 weeks and 6 months. At these spurts baby will want to eat constantly, and it’s normal to feal like you don’t have enough milk. Just continue to breastfeed as much as baby wants and in a day or two you will notice that milk supply is increased and baby is happier.

I've been nursing my son for just over a year now so am happy to answer any other questions you might have. 
The nipple pain lasted about 2-3 weeks max. for me. I would rub 100% lanolin on them after every feed. They get super soft and stretchy! 
My boobs are Ds so I don't think I have advice for you there, but we've only ever done cradle hold (remember belly to belly so baby's head doesn't have to turn!) and side-lying in bed. 
I would say just remember that BFing is supply and demand so the more baby "demands" (by nursing), the more your body will "supply." 
This isn't the time for crash diets! Keep up your food intake, especially protein and dairy! Have your partner / family / friends bring food and water to you while you nurse every hour during cluster feeding periods. Have your phone & charger / book / tv remove nearby 😂

My first is now 2 weeks old, and I’m exclusively breastfeeding. My nipples were sore the first few days, then fine the rest of the first week (aside from the first few seconds of getting latched).
Started getting really sore again at about 8-9 days. Lasted a couple of days but now back to just a few seconds of discomfort at the start of each feed. Hang in there!!!
