Did he cheat?

My body started to show symptoms that something was wrong my vagina I went to my GYN I was diagnosed with chlamydia honestly I never cheated on my boyfriend and when I told him he was the one who cheated he swore he never did something like that  he was very confused even upset because I accused him.  I  broke up with him but then I don't know why I feel like I did wrong I m kinna confused I don't know whether he really cheated or maybe he had it before we got in a relationship. We've been together for a year now and he never gave me any reason to doubt him except this result from the Doctor.

STDs don't lie. Either you cheated, he did, or one of you already had it. This is why it's always a good idea to get tested before a new relationship. Just be thankful it's curable.

Good luck with all that drama my best friend had the same thing happen and the bf denyed it for the longest time before admitting the truth that he did cheat.

Chlamydia is the #1 sexually transmitted disease and often doesn't immediately present symptoms.  Definitely sexually transmitted and a lot of men don't have symptoms...think this comes down to trust.

Has he tested to see if he has it? If not, it could be something you contracted on your own through other means. Or, like others have said, the disease can incubate for months before showing signs.

Had you been tested before in your relationship?  Honestly std's don't lie.  There is only so many ways to get it.  But he may have had it before you started dating or you may have.  Unless you were both tested after you started dating and were clean then there is no way to know for sure.

Is it possible he had it before getting together with you and didn't know? I know sometimes (not often) sti can have no symptoms, especially in men. Just take that into consideration.

On of my friends got Chlamydia from the guy before her now bf her bf got tested and so did she and the results came back negative and then soon after she started experiencing painful sex and went to the doctors again and was diagnosed with chlamydia and her bf got tested again and he this time he had it too. She reached out to her ex and told him and he already knew which std she was talking about and didn't even bother to tell her after he contracted it. Neither my friend or her bf cheated either.

Sometimes std's take a while to show up. He could have been "clean" but then it could have showed up at a later time. It happens

Either of you could have had it prior to getting together and just not known. Guys, especially, tend to take a lot longer before showing symptoms...not to mention they can be more stubborn about seeing a doctor because they don't get worried until they start experiencing bigger, more serious feeling, symptoms that something is wrong, lol.
