Pelvic exam

So I had my first pelvic exam today, as I’ve been bleeding in between periods and the doctor wanted to check it out.

It was really painful, and he couldn’t get the speculum in. Which has worried me... but I was probably just tense.

Has anyone felt like... weird after one? Like kind of violated? I know I shouldn’t feel like that because it was a medical exam and carried out properly... and I’d deffo have another if I needed one. I just feel a bit weird about it
