How should we spell “Lincoln”?

So this baby will be named Lincoln. This is husbands 4th baby (my second) and hopefully the last one (I can’t do this pregnancy thing again😆) he really had no say in his first 2 boys’ names and that makes me sad for him, and with our boy it took us FOREVER to agree on a name, and it was still my suggestion😂 husband wanted to name this boy (yes, all 4 are boys😆) Link after the legend of zelda🙄 I agreed to Lincoln and we can call him Link for short. I hate the way Lincoln looks spelt out, but I know this is the correct way to spell it, husband wants to go with Linkin for spelling, but that looks weird to me too!😩 I’m not sure what I want, opinions pleaseeee?

My son’s name is Lincoln and my husband suggested the same, I was like hard no. Lincoln at least sounds and looks like a name that a man can wear.  Linkin looks like a kid’s nickname or something misspelled.   And we have called him “Stinker” since birth 🤷🏻‍♀️  however when I text him I might say “stinkin linkin”, but I would never spell it that way on his birth certificate.

Linkin to me just looks like Linkin Park the band so I’d definitely have to agree on doing the traditional Lincoln.
