Dose anyone elses baby HATE the car seat?

It's been a problem since day 1. I've tried toys, blankets, food, sippy cups, a mirror, having someone sit in the back with him, a couple different kinds of car seats. Often he'll start crying as soon as he sees his car seat and after about 5min he screams bloody murder and doesn't stop until he's out or falls asleep. I dread having to take him anywhere :(

Yep, mine hates it. He arches his back and screeches the entire time. We are upgrading to the convertible car seat once it comes in the mail, and I’m hoping the extra space will help. 
I was also the mom who swore up and down my child would never ever have a tablet. However, the only thing that will calm him down (besides falling asleep) is watching videos on my iPad. Do I feel guilty about it? Heck yes. But will I do it to save everyone’s sanity? You bet. This is the only time he gets screen time and we dont go on long car rides super frequently so I’m trying to relax about it a little haha.

Both my kids hate the car and the only thing I've found that works are dvd players or tablets 🤦‍♀️ didn't want to be that parent but whatever stops them screaming in the car 😐

Same, since the beginning. My LO hates being strapped in to ANYTHING 😩 the car seat, stroller, push car, swing when he was little.. I just wish I could go for a walk or a drive without the screaming! 😭

Yup. Hates it. I always feel awkward when my partner picks me up from work because usually he gets there early and will let her walk around in the garden until I come out so she doesn't scream. She stands around waving and blowing kisses to the staff and residents... then I come out and she screams like a hell demon while I try to put her back in the car seat 😂

Absolutely hates getting buckled in, I’m honestly waiting for someone to call child services on me since he screams like he’s being beaten. Hoping this ends soon.

We hate it too but have got better. I started putting her in the car and driving around the block. Then we have Walgreens a mile away so I’d drive there take her in then go back. I’d just add a mile each time. She’s getting better but still isn’t happy about it.
