Drs giving notes for covid?

Anyone pregnant and their dr gave a note saying they should continue to telework instead of going into the office? I think our office will be opening soon and I’m so scared to go back to work. I’m 15 weeks pregnant.

A job doesn't really have to accommodate a drs note. They "should" only if you're still able to fully do your job as expected. Your job may be flexible with it given your pregnancy and may ask for a note simply so they can prove that they didn't show you favoritism over other employees, but you'd need to talk to your management about it before jumping to the drs note to see if it's an option.

My doctor asked me if I wanted one but fortunately, I am able to continue to work from home and going out on maternity leave as of next Monday. Couldn’t hurt to ask. Good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy! 💕

The CDC officially listed pregnant women as at higher risk so it’s possible your doctor could write a note.  At the beginning of all of this, my doctor wrote a note due to the unknowns of how it can effect pregnant women and the baby so I’m sure if my work were to call us back soon, they would continue to provide notes until my due date in October.

Depends on your office and if the doctor believes yous hould do remote working...
I haven't aksed, because I am a teacher due in the end of august, so I would'nt be back to work anyway yet, but I know someone, who asked, and didn't get it, because all the available research shows, that it is not that bad in majority of cases and pregnant people are not in more risk.

Your doc can write it but your job doesn’t have to comply. I mean if you have a job that can easily be done remotely I don’t see why they’d have an issue with it.
But I’m in healthcare and have worked this whole pregnancy. I stopped on Friday just so I could quarantine 2 weeks before my due date just in case
