How much is your 5 week old eating?!

My baby is gaining weight just fine, not excessive for anything but my god I feel like he eats like crazy! He was born at 9 lbs 15 oz and now at 5 weeks weights 12 lbs 10 0. 
He ate 3.5 oz at 9 AM
Ate another 2 oz at 10:30 
Its now 12:30, he did his usual hunger cry and hunger cues so I decided another oz or two should do the trick. I got distracted while feeding him and he ate another 3 oz 😳😳😳
Does that sound like over feeding?! He is happy, doesnt seem uncomfortable, isn’t spitting up like crazy. 
I thought at this age all they need is 1 oz per hour. He is doing like 2 oz per hour

My baby is 2 weeks old weight 8lb 15oz and drinks 3oz every 2 to 3 hours and acts hungry 30 mins later. I can't give him another once because he ends up throwing it all up. So if your little guys isn't throwing it up I guess it ok.

He could be hitting the 6 week growth spurt a little early! My LO is a few days away from 6 weeks and she’s nursing every hour when it was every 2 a few days ago.

6 weeks on Monday and we’re looking at 4.5 oz every 2-3 hours. Occasionally we get a longer stretch but it never feels like it! I think we’re on a bit of a growth spurt too

I exclusively breastfeed so I couldn’t tell you the amount in ounces but he eats every 2 hours or less and he’s gaining weight great.
