Switching From IUD to The Implant

i’ve had the mirena iud for going on 9 months now after switching from the tri speintec pill. it’s made my periods quite a bit lighter & less painful

i’ve had some pretty rough side effects, like weight gain, acne, CRAZY hunger, etc. i also realllyyy get infections easy which is the most annoying of all. it’s gotten to the point i want to switch birth controls because of them

has anyone had these crazy infections? it’s only been 9 months so i figure it might get better but it’s just annoying dealing with it

what is everyone’s thoughts on the nexplanon implant? i’ve heard good things about it & it seems to be the most similar compared to the iud, just a different location. any info is welcome !! :)
