I’m absolutely terrified of being induced. I’m 40 weeks and 2 days now and my doctor said he doesn’t like to let anyone go a week over their due date. He wants to schedule an induction for this Wednesday. I was really hoping to go into labor on my own, but I don’t see that happening. Today at my appointment he said I was almost 2 cm and 50% effaced. Which isn’t much progress from what I was last week. It’s really stressing me out and causing me to be really upset. I’m scheduled for an NST tomorrow morning and he said if I changed my mind about the induction for Wednesday to let him know and we’d get it scheduled.
