Tips on how to grow your kids to be very close ?

Very tight relationship. I need tips, me and my siblings are NOT close at all ( which makes me sad) but whatever.... used to it by now. don’t want that for my kids.... I want them to have each others backs no matter what! Please share tips. I know for a fact it comes from the parents

Well you can’t force them to be close. That can make stuff worse. 
How many years apart are they? All you can do is just have them play together and I guess always be together. But one or the other can get annoyed lol.

- Make sure they don’t feel a lack of your individual attention. Take them each on a ‘date’ once a month just by themselves 
- Don’t show any favouritism 
- Find games it’s even apps you can play as a family 
- Depending on the age, suggest they can pitch a tent and campout together in the backyard (you can get tents for like $10-20)
- Give them tasks involving the other one like having a competition who can hang clothes together 
- Give then the option to ‘swap chores’ and negotiate things together

It’s all about teaching the oldest to be inclusive and supportive of their younger siblings. The eldest need to have instilled in them that they are protectors and providers, the younger ones need to know they have supportive siblings. And NEVER take sides, it causes resentment.

My kids are all close, they play together. My daughter playing the video game with my boys and they love it. They all play with my youngest and he is really into tool sets and stuff like that and he is two years old. I have four altogether age from 12 yrs old boy,8yrs old boy, 6 yr old girl and 2 yr old boy. We also do family time once a week and movie night every two weeks.

I don’t think you can force it but a healthy partnership w their other parent is a help. Family activities like games and cooking together. Supporting each other’s endeavors like sports/dance. Making sure the boundaries of parent/older sibling are very clear. 
Age gaps can complicate things. My sister and I weren’t close until we were both parents. We didn’t have much in common (12 years apart) and our parents were so different with each of us it’s like we grew up in different houses. 
My bro and I are six years apart and didn’t get close until I was in college and he in HS. Now we are pretty close for sibs who live states apart.
