Wow! Baby boy came early 💙

After a long weekend of “is this Braxton Hicks or real contractions..,” let me rest, etc. I delivered via c section Sunday night at 8:27 our Maverick Anthony came into the world.

Friday night and Saturday my stomach had that tightening feeling. Sunday I woke up with “cramp like” pains with the tightening every 5-10 minutes. Eventually went into labor and delivering and I was 3cm dilated. Within two hours, I was 5.5cm dilated. We still opted in for our c section as we had one scheduled on the 27th due to type 2 diabetes because for us VBAC was too risky and the cons were too risky. My doctor came in to give me c section and she really assured me throughout the whole process. He’s healthy & we’re both doing great. My husband is a complete champ as this is his first child, my second. 💙

I was originally due on Aug 1st. Delivered at 37 weeks and 1 day.
