Tips for moving in with no furniture?

I move on to my townhome tomorrow and I’m soooo excited! Only thing is I’m really on a budget and don’t have a lot of stuff. Any tips for budgeting or finding cheaper alternatives for furniture, pots and pans ect? It’s basically starting over until I can afford to have my storage unit from another state moved over here :/ Thank you guys!! ❤️

We camp so we bought a lot of stuff we could also use camping - folding table, outdoor chairs air mattress. Things that would have a purpose after we weren’t using them for everyday living.

If they’re near you, check out TJ Maxx, Walmart, and Target. They have nice furniture and home decor items at different prices to fit any budget. Five Below has a room/home section as well but some items are a bit tacky/child-like but they do have some nice/adult-ish stuff. It’s usually pictures or items you would use to decorate your walls or a table with. Walmart and Target also tend to have different home sales throughout the year where you can buy items for your home (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc.) at a cheaper price. Especially during the month of August since they have their back to school/college sale (l don’t know how that will work this year because of the pandemic). Also, l would take my time and move room to room focusing on what matters to you the most. For instance, l would focus first on my bedroom and kitchen rather than getting my dining room and living room together, especially if it’s just me and l won’t have any company over.
