What do y’all feed your dogs?

I’ve been doing more research on grain free dog foods and really want to get my dog off it since it’s not good for them. I’ve been having trouble due to many brands only really selling grain free items.

Yes grain free is absolutely NOT healthy for any dog at all. 
I recommend science diet, royal canin, or purina pro plan.

I had the same thing with my dog! I had no idea grain free was so bad for them so I switched him right away when I found out. We do Wellness brand, they have a pretty good selection, few recalls and are reasonably priced for their quality

Grain free is better then non grain free kibble. If you want to feed better look into raw

We went through this same process with our dogs! We ended up going with Purina Pro Plan.

my aunt gives her dogs orijen. i use the same brand for my cat, with the addition of raw meat (steak trimmings, sashimi, eggs, etc) for treats to give her some extra protein.

We feed our dogs a Montego branded food, with a home cooked meal nightly (meat, veggies, brown rice). Works for us, our dogs are healthy and happy (the only dogs that needs regular visits to the vet is our one girl with hip dysplasia, and our old girl with bilateral torn ACL ligaments (not a candidate for surgery due her age (11 years old))). 
Our 11 year old, apart from visits to the vet for her legs, has only been to the vet three times her whole life for other issues (and two were our fault). Our hip dysplasia doggy has never been for any illnesses, only her hip and she needed stitches once after running into a fence.
Our other old boy, about 12 years old (shelter dog) has also only been to the vet twice since we got him (for teeth extractions when we first got him and anxiety) and other other girl (age unknown, but also a bit older from her little greying face) has never needed a vet visit. We've had these two for going on three years.
I know grain foods aren't the best, but we feed a good quality food regardless and I think the added veggies and meat in the cooked food helps a lot.
