Clomid Help/Experieces Please! No AF, 1st Round

Alright so I took Clomid for the first time last month. The day before my expected AF I had light spotting when I wiped. Period never came and that was the only bleeding I had. I have normal cycles that are to the day correct every month.

I’m supposed to start my Second round of Clomid CD 3. My doctor requested I get a blood pregnancy test and it came back negative, so now I’m CD 4.

Do I just take it CD 4-8 instead of 3-7 this month?

Has anyone else skipped a period on Clomid? So confusing.
