Mom accuses me of chatting with her bf?

So long story short, my mom is dating a man who apparently revealed to her recently that he had known of me and was attracted to me before meeting her... he knew of me from social media and somehow he started talking to her through it as well...

Keep in mind this man is 62 years old and is more than twice my age.

He admitted to my mom that he admired me and wanted to know me more. She got mad at him and stopped talking to him as a result.

Well now they’re talking again and my mom texted me today asking if I’ve been chatting with him.. I have no desire to talk to that guy, especially as a married woman with children.

But apparently my mom is angry with me because she is assuming I am. Why would I want to chat with this man who is 1) NOT my husband, and 2) more than twice my age?
