Her father nailed it into her head that abuse and violence is ok.  As an adult she is unable to see abuse for what it is, she thinks it’s ok, and marries an abuser.

Abuse is cyclical. The things we see and experience as children appear normal to us so we tend to not question it as adults.

It represents the cycle of abuse. What we are brought up around is what we see as normal, and even if we realise our upbringing isn’t normal we still may seek out the same types of abusive relationships because it’s all we have known. 
When you’ve been abused and put down your whole life, it’s hard to actually accept that you are worthy of real love.

It's vaguely referencing the saying "When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail." 
It's saying when someone spends their life being beaten down, they are likely to find someone who will beat them down because it's familiar, it's what they know.
I do believe there are plenty of cases of this. Cases where children grow up in violent or aggressive households and if they find and create similar households when they grow up because, to them, that's normal. Plenty of us grow up seeing what's wrong and put in the work to create a better life for our children than what we experienced growing up but not everyone who grows up with abuse does.

To me, it looks like abuse. 
If a person is constantly belittled and abused (verbally or physically) by the people that raised them, they’re likely to fall victim to abusive relationships as well.

The abuse isnt just on the girls end either,the young boy is being verbally abused as well. They both think this behaviour is normal....
