Pregnant!

I just wanted to post about my experience of becoming pregnant!

Since last September 2019. I got off birth control and was trying to get pregnant. My concerns prior to getting off birth control was my irregular periods as I have never had a consistent period in my life. Well after months of trying and having to wait a little longer than normal due to my periods being every 2 months we felt a little defeated as we couldn’t try every month.

Well a few days ago I call my doctor to let her know that my periods are still irregular as she was saying that prior to getting off birth control that it is normal to have irregular periods for a few months but after being off birth control for about 10 months my periods were still irregular.

My doctor recommended to put me on pills that make me have my period so first I had to go in and take a pregnancy blood test. This test was solely to show that I was negative so I could be put on pills that would make me have my period regularly. Upon receiving my results I was shocked to here I was pregnant and couldn’t believe it !! I asked my nurse again if they are sure and they said “most definitely”! So I’m currently 7-8 weeks along and absolutely so excited for my first ultrasound!

I’m both nervous and excited to see how many babies i have and if everything is okay.
