Kyleena causing low libido?

Danni

So I’m only 25. I got my IUD in late August 2019. My sex drive has tanked since then. At first I was fine, but by November I have very little interest in sex. My boyfriend is older, so his mind isn’t centered around sex.. so it’s not causing any problems in our relationship. Mentally I crave sex, but my body won’t cooperate.. it has caused me to question myself, and has made me struggle with my self esteem. I’m thinking about having my IUD removed, but we aren’t wanting children right now.. I’m scared that even switching birth control methods won’t bring back my sex drive.. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if switching methods helped? I want to get back to my old self, and feel confident and sexy. Also, I have no insurance, so I can’t just go talk to my doctor without it costing me an arm and a leg, which is why I’m asking here.
