Can you give head if you have a mouth sore?

I get mouth sores / canker sores often due to acid reflux and just genetics ig? my mom and brother get them often as well. I was wondering if it’s still possible for me to give my boyfriend head while having a canker sore. I’ve never done it, Im too scared it’ll pass onto him. I want to know if my fears have any ground to stand on or if i’m just being paranoid.
