Dying hair while pregnant?

Hi moms! What are your thoughts on dying hair while pregnant? And if you do did you wait until a certain point? Thanks!

Dying hair is perfectly fine while pregnant. If it wasn't the hairstylist would not be able to work while pregnant. I colored my hair with both my pregnancies

You have to wait till second trimester.

I was naughty and dyed my hair to go back to my natural colour so that I wasn't dying it throughout or having bad roots! I did mine about 6 weeks or so. I used Garnier Olia which is 60% natural oil with no smell. I had my first ultrasound on the 11th and the baby was healthy!

I dyed my hair throughtout my whole first pregnancy with no problems.... I actually talked to my doc and a hair stylist about if and they both said it was fine and there is not enough chemicals to get into your system and harm you or the baby.

If you're really that concerned, get highlights as they don't even touch the scalp

if you're going to a salon I heard it's a good idea to make an appointment when they open so there are less chemicals in the air. there's also "natural" dyes at health food stores (with less chemicals) if you're really concerned.

I don't dye while pregnant, but not because you shouldn't do it. My hair is just so stinking beautiful and I want to see it!! It's the only time it's full and healthy looking. A few months after baby, I'll be back to flat, limp, and boring.

I did at about 6 weeks! Baby is healthy:-) 18 weeks now!
