Am i protected before 7 days?

I have been on the pill for about 5 years now. I have been taking it the right way for 1.5 years. Do i still need to wait 7 days after my period to be protected against pregnancy?

No, that's only when you first begin it. Like you weren't on the pill and now you're starting it so you need to wait a week before it's in your system. Once you're on it every month using it correctly you're always protected. Read the pamphlet that came with the pills
