Advice needed
In an hour I’m going to visit the Mom of my high school best friend who died in April of an unintentional drug overdose (fentanyl poisoning). I hadn’t seen my friend in ten years. Her Mom was like a second mom to me.
What are some appropriate things I can say to her, beyond the obvious “I’m sorry for your loss” and “I can’t imagine this pain”.
