Signs of labor..?

Question

Is it possible to have no signs of labor one day, & the next day your body does a drastic change far as giving off so many signs? Or do you normally start feeling things a day or days before? Just curious....almost 40 weeks & I have no signs on baby 👶🏽 😞 Although, I been having small Braxton Hicks but only before bedtime for some reason 🧐

With my daughter I felt great up until my first contraction. I felt totally normal. Walked 5 miles and felt amazing the day before. I never lost my mucus plug or had any other weird symptom.  I even woke up the day of (40+2 then) and didn’t feel any differently. Then contractions started around 1 and I had her at 9 at night! I wasn’t 100% sure they were contractions until about an hour later when they started to hurt and came in the same interval. I went to the hospital and my water broke there so I got admitted. Then the contractions really started to hurt and everything happened so fast.

With my first I had been contracting the whole day before labor started but not that intense or regular, but more intense than usual. I had sex, went to bed, woke up at 1:30 am to my water breaking in my bed, and labored all night, and had her at 9:55 PM the next day.

I never had any signs until I started contracting the day we ended up at the hospital (baby 1 and 2).

I have the same question- I am Due Thursday but have a feeling he’s not coming anytime soon. Wondering if it could just all start without warning!
