He asked me if we were in a relationship during sex....

I have been seeing this guy I really like for about 3 months now and he recently made a “ I’m single “ joke that I brushed off. Keep in mind we really haven’t ever spoke about a relationship between us both. During sex the next day he asked me if we are in a relationship... I kind of froze up and mentioned that that’s what it seemed like. Now that we obviously aren’t in the heat of the moment I was thinking about bringing it back up. Guys/ladies any thoughts? Should I bring it up or let it be and just go with the flow?
