Please help...lost my home because of mold

I’m 21w pregnant and had a lovely apartment I rented. It was beautiful and I was getting the nursery ready until I found black mold behind the walls of the nursery! I’ve been complaining about a musty odor to the landlord and management for almost two years but they never investigated the cause and I just kept windows open and went about my business. I spent $2500 on professional mold inspectors who found black mold in the walls and the air. I was told to leave my unit immediately especially because I’m pregnant. I packed a small bag with stuff and my fiancé and I stayed at his dad’s house. We go between his dad’s house and my fiancé’s business where he has a bedroom while we speak to attorneys because we are considering suing our landlord for negligence.

Meanwhile, i am so sad to not have my home :(the dad is SO sweet for letting us stay at his place but he is remodeling his bathroom and there is construction early in the morning until the afternoon. I can’t stand it. And, the dad is there so I can’t exactly walk around in my robe and lounge. I feel so uncomfortable. And my fiancé’s work is a giant warehouse and is not home. In fact, now we are celebrating his uncles bday...a tiny group of family because of covid...at his warehouse and everyone is drinking and I don’t have a home to go to 😭 😭

We don’t know if we will have a lawyer demand our place gets remediated and if he complys move back? The lawyer thinks it’s crazy to move back to a place where the landlord has been so negligent. We could possibly sue and leave permanently but we only have family to go to and I really don’t want to live with family.

I’m so sad right now cry 😢 😢 I feel like I lost my beautiful secure home
