Are masks okay to wear all day when pregnant?

I am 7 weeks pregnant and I have a nursing job that requires me to be active and wearing a mask for 10 hours a day. I have been feeling ill lately (morning sickness) but it is worse at work with the mask on. I’m going to ask my doctor next week at my first scan. However, I’m curious if anyone knows anything about the effects of constantly wearing a mask while pregnant??

A proper mask doesn’t do anything nor deprive of oxygen. So you should be fine.

Do you wear an n95? I find that those are a lot more “breathable”. Sadly wearing a mask does suck and absolutely is more challenging to breathe when pregnant. But also the safety factors in protecting yourself with them outweigh that.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I’ve been wearing a mask almost daily since February. Baby and I are fine. I’ll take breaks where I’ll go to a secluded spot and get some air but I’m just now having trouble with my mask and I can’t breathe even with the dang thing off since Baby is so big now. I’m also asthmatic and have been fine with a standard medical mask. 🤷🏽‍♀️
