My OB and the OB’s ultrasound tech have 2 different due dates. Not sure where my OB came up with his, but the techs is based off my last period.

OB - 08/16

Tech - 08/09

I had a 3D ultrasound June 8th (I would have been 30/31 weeks depending on who you asked), well the ultrasound was showing my baby was 3 weeks ahead of the 08/09 date and he was measuring 34 weeks and 5 days.

Today I had another ultrasound to see the position and measure his weight. Currently I am 36 weeks 1 day (based on the due date 08/16) and I am 37 weeks 1 day (based on the due date 08/09)

His belly is 39 weeks and 2 days, his legs are measuring 37 weeks 1 day and his head is measuring 41 weeks. So based on all the calculations of his measurements the tech said I am 39 weeks and 3 days.

Baby is also weighing about 8 pounds 6oz and he is breech, so a c-section is in our future.

However, my OB won’t change the due date from 08/16 and schedule me earlier for a c-section. I’m confused as to why.

Has anyone else experienced this?
