Normal to have a pretty heavy period the first cycle after a D&C?

Started off as old dark brown blood the first two days and now I’ve had two days of heavy flow nothing abnormal but am filling a tampon every two hours about .

I have 2 d&c in a month,but my period came like a clock and same as before.but the doctor had told me to expect heavy bleeding

My first regular one after a d&c was really heavy. Id have to wear a super and a liner with changing it every 2 hrs.
