Am I being petty?

Question

So my partner is still friends with his ex on all social media, as is his mum and a few members of his family. I woke up early this morning and was just flicking through Facebook when I saw his ex had put a picture up of her and her niece, pretty much his whole family including my boyfriend had liked this picture. 
Am I being paranoid or insecure that everyone is liking her posts? 
Bit of a back story, when I first got together with my boyfriend he was still messaging his ex saying he wanted her back etc, I confronted him on it and he said he didn’t want her he wanted to be with me and as far as I know he hasn’t messaged her since. 
I am quite a paranoid person, my ex husband cheated on me and we broke up in 2018 so I don’t know if I’m just being silly and it shouldn’t bother me or if i am right in thinking it’s not normal. Is it even normal to still be ‘friends’ on social media with an ex?

Honestly I don’t see why my man would be friends with any ex on social media. It’ll make me a tab bit paranoid as well.

She’s friends with his whole family so I don’t see a problem with people liking a picture on Facebook tbh 
You should be more secure in your relationship and not bring pay experiences with you. 
To me it’s called being a grown up and you can be friends with your ex’s or opposite sex and nothing happening

It depends, how long were they together? Were they serious (engaged or lived together)? 
If they were together for years, or she was a family friend before they were dating, maybe they saw her as part of the family, it takes time for that to fade away.  
As long as nothing shady is happening, (like them trying to sabotage your relationship to get them together, or rejecting you), I would just try to strengthen my relationship with the family so they eventually accept that you are the new woman in his life.

I have ex's on my friends list, some people do get along with their ex's and that's completely fine. I don't see a problem here. Liking her pictures or posts isn't concerning to me either. You like what you like, 🤷‍♀️.
If it's bothering you so badly then speak to him about it, he might be able to put your mind at ease.

My husband and I met a year ago and once we started talking he was talking to only me no other girls just out of respect for my feelings (I didn’t even ask him to he just did this out of common sense). He wouldn’t like me talking to a guy let alone an ex so it’s just been a thing we have done since dating. We could still have friends of the opposite gender but hangout in groups but honestly once we started dating we chose each other and our feelings first. That’s healthy. Not the other way around. I hate when guys say “so you won’t let me have female friends?” That’s not healthy. If you guys are serious, you should come first no matter what. Meaning out of respect he should’ve blocked her. The fact that he didn’t is a lack of respect and common sense. Big red flag.

This is just me personally but I would just leave. I wouldn’t want the emotional turmoil of trying to guess if him and his family liked me or her better

Nah I don’t like that. I would just remove her myself and not say anything he shouldn’t notice it unless he cares and then that’s when red flags would pop up. Besides the point tho my husband has always taken the initiative to block his ex’s because he just truly hates them and once we got married he officially asked his mom to remove photos of them together with his grandma the reason those photos existed is because his grandma had passed and that’s all they had left of her but he asked his mom to please cut his ex off luckily she was at the end of the photo and it was a simple fix. I didn’t ask him to do this but I do appreciate it
