Has anyone had a planned induction?

I’m on a daily blood thinner so my OB plans to induce me at 39 weeks. At what point will they set my induction date?

My induction wasn’t scheduled until a week before. That was with my first. They were going to induce at 39 weeks, but were afraid it would turn into a c-section as my body was nowhere near ready. I got induced on my due date and ended up with an emergency c-section due to little progression after 29 hours. Not sure what will go on with this baby yet. Currently she is transverse, but she has time.

My OB said we wouldn’t schedule until really close to the end.  But, he didn’t say when. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have gestational diabetes and they said I will be induced by 39 weeks. I don’t have a date yet and I think they’re just monitoring mine and the baby’s health before they make that decision.

I was induced with my first but that was because I went to 41.5 weeks and my fluid was low. If you have any questions about induction, I'm happy to share.

My c section is already scheduled but generally they wait until we’ll into the third trimester. 
My last c section was scheduled at my 36 week appointment. They were booked for my 37 week so they did it at 38. 
I say they prefer to schedule around 32 or later.
