SIL doesn’t want us to name our daughter this name...

My husband and I are expecting a baby girl in September. We decided on the name Eden 💕 The issue here is that his brother’s wife doesn’t want us to name her that because he was dating a girl named Eden in high school right before he got with her. It was pretty much between her and Eden. She hated her!

They’re both 30 now with a 12 and 7 year old and I don’t think it should bother her as much as it’s bothering her. Now my husband wants to consider naming our daughter a different name so that there’s no issues with family. I think it’s stupid. It’s been over a decade and I think she needs to get over it. What do y’all think?
