Should my boyfriend still wear a condom even though I'm on the pill?

I've been taking the pill now for about 4 years and it hasn't let me down yet. But whenever me and my boyfriend have sex he never wears a condom; he just relys on the pill. Do you think he should still wear a condom or is the pill good enough?

As long as you're taking your pill correctly, it's literally 0.1% difference of protection between the pill and a condom (obviously apart from STI's) so you don't need to worry at all as long as you are taking it properly and have both been tested!

Well I trusted my birth control until my IUD shifted out of place and got me pregnant. I've had friends that have gotten pregnant on the pill even taking it perfectly. So, yes. I'd say use a condom anyways, plus, it will protect you from any STD's.

I've been on birth control for 7 years and we sometimes use a condom and sometimes pull out. No worries yet. However, I do get nervous every single time we don't use a condom. I just think I might be paranoid because I really don't want to get pregnant. I take my birth control exactly on time too and never have missed. I do let him cum in me while I'm on my period but that's it. It's either pull out or condom.

Most definitely wear a condom if you're on the pill. If you don't want any unplanned pregnancies, you should take every precaution because the pill is in no way 100% effective.
