Can my baby eat a happy meal?

He’s 9 months has 4 teeth and he can eat chips (as long as the ends are bit off) and other food but I was just wondering if I was to take him to McDonald’s would he be able to have a chicken nugget happy meal?

Can he physically eat it? Yes. Should he eat that food? Probably not.

Babies' kidneys aren't fully mature until they are around a year old and really shouldn't be having a lot of salt. I would think that it isn't the best idea to give them a happy meal.

He might be able to eat it. Should he? Eh.... McDonald’s is truly disgusting, and all of that sodium and the preservatives in their food aren’t good for adults, let alone a baby honestly. Their salads are even loaded with salt to preserve them. And the food doesn’t mold or anything when left out for prolonged periods of time. It looks almost exactly the same even months down the road. That’s not normal. 🤢

I don’t think 4 teeth are enough for those nuggets. Maybe small pieces of a soft fry. Plus greasy, salty food really upsets their stomach. If you have to stop for food I’d go to Chickfila where you can get a yogurt, fruit cup, or Mac-n- cheese, grilled chicken for older kids. I know sometimes it’s easier but its really not good for them but better than most fast food.

Well. Why not. Once in a while is totally ok, if he is able to eat it. Just observe and will be fine.
Mind that mc meals are truly salty, so baby might not like it, and you should not give baby too much salt often.

I love McDonald’s and if I go I take my own food for baby.  Pieces of chicken/ tomatoes/ cheese/ melon etc in a little pot. Then I eat my lovely Big Mac while she has a healthy salt free lunch! 😂😂 If I go for breakfast I order her a plain porridge.
