Signs Of Labor?

Hey everyone I am almost 38 weeks and went to the doctor Monday. Baby has dropped and is already over 7lbs they said. I have had Braxton Hicks the last two or three days mainly at night and now today I am feeling dizzy a slight headache and my back has hurt for a few hours now everything that makes it stop normally hasn’t helped and I have had quite an increase in discharge. I looked online and it’s signs labor is close. Did anyone else go through this? Is is signs of labor? How soon after you had these did labor happen for you?
