Anyone else struggle with gaining weight after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes? I don’t have much of an appetite a lot of the time. I’m 31 weeks and I lost weight. If so any tips for this first time momma ?

I haven’t gained weight but haven’t lost either since being diagnosed with GD about 3 weeks ago. I’ve stayed at the same weight. Probably because I’m eating pretty similar to what I was eating before except with slight changes? 🤷🏼‍♀️

i didnt gain any weight for last two months (since i was diagnosed with GD), its not that i dont eat but i guess i have healthier options 🤔 anyway i dont worry cause my baby is very active and gaing weight.

Me! I’m 32+2 and haven’t gained any weight since 27-28 weeks. Was diagnosed with GDM at 30 weeks. I’ve been a little worried since I wasn’t overweight before pregnancy and hadn’t gained a ton in the first two trimesters either. Plan to discuss with my doctor at my appointment tomorrow, but hopeful that it’s just because I’m being more careful with my diet and baby is still gaining appropriately, even if my overall weight isn’t going up.

FTM here too! I lost weight as well ever since i was diagnosed but not too drastic and at my recent appointment, the doctor didn’t say anything concerning about my weight loss so I guess it’s fine. But I feel you. I lost my appetite ever since cos we need to control our diet and intake 🥺
