Stretch Mark Lotion

Purchased the palmers stretch mark lotion today. Just rubbed it all over my belly and the lotion is not absorbing, it looks as if my skin is peeling! Anyone else have/had this issue? What are you using now that works?

I had the same issue. i figures out you have to shower and use a loofah or washcloth to exfoliate a little bit and while your skin is dried off but still most apply and it’ll soak in well with the moisture from your shower and hydrate really well. If done after your shower it works really well!

Bio Oil! It’s amazing. My belly has survived 4 kids with it (I do have a few, but they minimal and super faded), and I come from a family that has incredibly bad luck with stretch marks.

I use that same lotion, and it seems to absorb best after a shower. Remember to do your back and thighs too! Stretch marks can be sneaky 😉

I used this one all tru my pregnancy and didn’t get any stretch mark! I used right after I showered and it was fast absorbed

bio oil, almond oil or any other body oil. oil works SOO much better than lotion. Apply at night and after showers. If you're trying to avoid stretch marks, you should buy collagen peptides. Its flavorless, mix it in your tea or coffee.

Vitamin E oil rubbed it on everyday from the time I found out til delivery. Got stretch marks everywhere else I didn't put it.

I used virgin coconut oil (not the baby lotion, but i couldnr add the link). Aa bonus points, this is also great nipple cream and can be used on your pump parts to get a better seal when you're pumping!
