Pain meds

Good morning! 🌞 So I’m curious if any of you have talked to your dr about pain meds??

Here in NH they do not give out ANY opiates... your option is ibuprofen or an epidural! & no... the epidural does not have fentynl in it!

Even if you get a c section ... no opiates! It’s because of the opiate abuse that’s gone on & I personally think it’s amazing they don’t! With my 1st (13 yrs ago) I was sent home with Vicodin but never once took it. & this was after a c section. My dr says that it’s become a law & most states do not allow it any more.

So I’m wondering if you ladies have had this talk with your doctors instead of just assuming you’ll get something if needed???
