Painful GBS

I just had my GBS test this morning and was shocked that it was actually quite painful. I will email and ask the doc about it on Monday but wondering if anyone else has ever had a painful GBS test and whether it meant anything. With my son it was totally unmemorable. I’m worried the pain could be a sign of some sort of other infection down there, though I had a cervical check immediately after and didn’t feel any discomfort with that. But when I peed about an hour later, it was also painful, almost like a UTI. Honestly, I’m going for a VBAC and the amount of pain I just felt from a test that isn’t supposed to be painful at all just gave me serious pause about trying to push a baby out that way. 😬
