Fun fact!!

Did you know that at around 34 weeks I think it is you get your butt swab!!!! Lol

It is for a medical reason it is to look for a certain type of bacteria to make sure it doesn’t accidentally get passed to the baby during birth.

However most doctors tend not to tell you just to make it less awkward!!

I didn’t find out until my 2nd child that this happened actually. I’m on #3 now!!!

Another fun fact (yes it has to due with the butt again) Your doctor will not tell you if you poop during labor so do not worry about it I don’t know why but this was one of my big fears giving birth to my second child the doctor was like stop worrying about it it doesn’t matter we don’t tell you anyways (so in my head I was like oh great I could’ve done it and you won’t tell me lol)(at least where I’m from they don’t)

One more fun fact if your belly button pops out kind of early like around 26 weeks fully out like your turkeys ready it may not just be a cute little belly button like I thought it might be an umbilical hernia (nothing to be too concerned about but it can be concerning) and you should ask your doctor about it!!

Edit: no need to be rude if you did know these, as a first time mom I just didn’t know a damn thing and thought these were interesting. I was also informed this is not a routine test in the UK so you may not have it done!!!
