Eating before glucose tolerance test
My OB encourages you to eat a high-protein, low-carb breakfast the morning of. I know that’s not the norm, but I was just wondering for those of you who were able, how were your results for the 1 hour test? If anything, I’d think it would stabilize your sugars a bit better. Either way I’m grateful because I have pretty bad issues with hypoglycemia... my blood sugar plummets dangerously low about 1-2 hours after I eat something high-carb without a protein.
